Deyyan Jafar

Deyyan is an endorsed Clinical Neuropsychologist and Registered Psychologist with experience providing neuropsychological consultations in inpatient, community, and private practice settings. He works with individuals across the lifespan, with primary interests in neurological and neurodevelopmental conditions, mental health disorders, dementia, and decision-making capacity assessments. Recognised by his patients for his approachable and non-judgmental style, Deyyan strives to create a comfortable and supportive environment throughout the assessment process.

Deyyan holds an Honours degree (1st Class) in Psychology and a Master of Clinical Neuropsychology. His research interest focuses on cognitive flexibility, particularly in individuals with acquired brain injuries. Alongside his clinical work, Deyyan regularly lectures postgraduate psychology students at Western Sydney University and provides undergraduate teaching at Macquarie University. Deyyan conducts neuropsychological assessments at Mind Plasticity for private fee-paying clients as well as NDIS-funded clients.
