Braedon Townsend

Braedon is a Clinical Psychologist, having completed his Bachelor and Master’s in Clinical Psychology at Macquarie University. At Mind Plasticity, Braedon will be engaging in both in-room and out-of-rooms assessments and consultations.

Braedon has work experience across the lifespan from youth to older adults. Braedon has clinical and research experience in the treatment of older adults, with a focus on the benefits and barriers to social participation in later life. He has additional research experience in understanding risk factors to adolescent wellbeing. Braedon has experience working on rigorous research trials required to maintain the highest standard in evidence-based care. In addition to Mind Plasticity, he works in the assessment of children, adults, and families involved in legal matters.

raedon believes that person-centered healthcare means meeting a comprehensive understanding of one’s background with respect and compassion. He strives for collaboration in his approach, offering clients the evidence-base knowledge to help them work toward their goals. Braedon accepted his role at Mind Plasticity based on a shared belief that all people deserve equal access to the highest standards of care.
