Lizeth Ahumada is a Clinical Psychologist and member of the Australian Clinical Psychology Association. She works with adults and young adults experiencing anxiety, perfectionism, stress, burnout, depression, relationship difficulties and trauma, as well as those seeking support to better understand themselves and navigate challenges in their personal and professional lives.
Lizeth has a particular interest in childhood trauma, attachment and the ways early experiences can influence relationships, emotional wellbeing, parenting and sense of self. She also enjoys helping people develop stronger emotional and interpersonal skills, as well as practical strategies to manage everyday challenges.
Lizeth has practised across public and private hospitals, rehabilitation centres and workplace settings, including Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and Concord Repatriation Hospital. She has worked with a broad range of presentations, from common mental health concerns to more complex difficulties, and has experience supporting healthcare professionals, executives and first responders. Her approach is warm, collaborative and trauma-informed. She draws on Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Circle of Security, tailoring her approach to each client’s needs and goals. She brings experience working both independently and within multidisciplinary teams, collaborating with other professionals when needed to ensure clients receive coordinated and comprehensive care.
