Margy Green

Margy Green has been a Social Worker since 2006, working in government and non-government roles. Margy lead the Social Work team as Senior Social Worker at The Forensic Hospital in Sydney working with adolescents and families (2015-2019), and Rivendell Child and Adolescent Mental Health (2019 – 2021). In addition to her work at Mind Plasticity, Margy works as a Adolescent Family Therapist at Relationships Australia, and in 2022 Margy commenced as a Student Liaison Tutor with UNSW.

She completed her Masters of Social Work at UNSW (2016), and a Churchill Fellowship on supporting families in high secure forensic environments (2017). Margy is a member of the Australian Association of Family Therapy and the Australian Association of Social Workers. She specialises in working with children and young people and their families dealing with complex social issues, and is also trained to facilitate parenting programs. Margy is able to provide assessments and interventions in the clinic or community context in Sydney.
