Esther is a Clinical Psychologist and Member of the Australian Clinical Psychology Association (ACPA). She holds an Honours degree in Psychology from the Australian National University and Master of Clinical Psychology with Distinction from the University of Newcastle. Esther also completed the Master of Brain and Mind Science at the University of Sydney.
Esther has worked in private and public hospitals as well as community settings in Sydney, the Central Coast and Newcastle. She enjoys working with children, adolescents, adults and families from all backgrounds and cultures. Esther is dedicated in providing a supportive and collaborative therapeutic relationship with clients in order to empower them to achieve their rich and meaningful goals. She is trained in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). She has experience working with individuals with a range of difficulties, including anxiety, depression, neurodevelopmental difficulties and adjustment issues. Esther also has extensive research experience working with children and adults in Australia and overseas.
Esther has a special interest in working with individuals and families from culturally and linguistically diverse communities. Esther is fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
