Ms Jayde Avery

Jayde Avery is an endorsed Mental Health Occupational Therapist who has experienced in both public and private health. Jayde completed a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours) at the University of Newcastle and has since worked in both paediatrics and mental health.

Jayde delivers clinical skill in psychological Occupational Therapy, including community access, functional assessment, cognitive behaviour therapy, graded exposure, coping strategies, activity scheduling and skills training. She has a special interest in working with adults who experience complex co-morbid mental health issues. Jayde also has keen interest working in forensic mental health.

Jayde is able to provide assessment and interventions in clinic or community contexts in Newcastle and Central Coast as indicated for each individual’s needs. Jayde has experience liaising with the NDIS and can assist with NDIS applications.
